Wavlink AC1200 Setup

Check that all the parts are included when you unveil the Wavlink AC1200 router box.
Switch the router on.

Once the extender has been unpacked, put it into a power outlet that is connected to your current Wi-Fi network
To establish a connection in access point mode, first press the WPS knob on your extender and then on your router.
Use a web browser to navigate to http://ap.setup in order to set up the extender in Repeater mode.
Choose your current Wi-Fi network and provide its password by following the directions.
Next, configure a fresh password and SSID for the expanded network.
Restart the extender and apply the adjustments.
Enjoy improved Wi-Fi coverage by connecting your devices to the expanded network.

Once the WPS LED on the repeater begins to flash, press and hold the WPS knob for approximately five seconds.
If the link is successful, the repeater’s WPS LED should turn solid green.
Examine the LED indications on the repeater.
Position the repeater midway between your router and the area you need more coverage for best results.
Using the SSID and password you specified during setup, connect your devices to the expanded Wi-Fi network once the repeater is configured.
Now, a wider region should be covered by your Wi-Fi network with stronger signals.

Once the mesh devices are unpacked, use an Ethernet wire to connect one of them to your modem. When the additional units are within range of the main unit’s power outlets, plug them in.
Turn on the power to every unit.

Installing the mesh system requires following the in-app instructions.

For your mesh network, create a network name (SSID) and password. As appropriate, select options like parental controls and the guest network.
Once you have created an SSID and password, connect your devices to the newly created mesh Wi-Fi network.

Unveil the app store on your device and install the Wavlink setup programme.
Unveil the application, generate an account.
Verify that the Wi-Fi network that the router or extension is emitting is linked to your smartphone or tablet.
The application will look over your network for Wavlink AC1200 devices automatically.
Select the exact AC1200 router or extension that you wish to configure.
Step-by-step instructions for establishing network settings, updating firmware, and setting up a network name and password will be provided via the app.

Problems with the Connection:
Substantiate the modem is correctly connected to the router/extender and that it is powered on.
Substantiate the Ethernet cables are connected in securely and inspect them for any damage.
Restart the modem and router/extender.
Verify whether your device can see the Wi-Fi network and attempt to reconnect.
Poor Signal/Coverage
For improved coverage, move the router or extender to a central area.
Steer clear of positioning the extension or router close to objects like walls or electronics.
If you’re utilising a mesh system, think about adding more mesh nodes for wider coverage.

Access or Configuration Issues:
Ensure you are using the correct IP address to access the router’s configuration page (commonly 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.10.1).
Verify the username and password for accessing the router’s settings.
Restoring the factory settings:
Resetting the router or extender to its factory settings might be necessary if all else fails.
On the device, look for a reset knob.
Please be aware that all personalised settings will be lost.

Substantiate the firmware update is appropriate for the particular AC1200 router or extender type you own.
To begin the firmware upgrade procedure, select the file you downloaded.
